Physical commodities

Brokerage grounded in defined trade requirements.

Schütze Capital facilitates physical commodity opportunities between qualified buyers and suppliers. Each mandate begins with the product and the commercial terms required for a transaction to be considered.

Both sides of the trade

Clear mandates create useful conversations

For buyers

Source against a specific requirement

Buyers can present the commodity specification, required quantity, frequency, destination, timing and expected delivery and payment terms. We use that brief to assess potential supplier fit.

Discuss a purchase requirement

For suppliers

Present a deliverable offer

Suppliers can describe the commodity, available quantity, origin, delivery capability, timing and proposed commercial terms. We use those facts to evaluate relevance to buyer mandates.

Discuss a supply offer

Mandate qualification

The terms we establish first

A product name alone is not enough to assess a physical transaction. We ask both sides for the information that determines commercial fit.

01
Specification
Grade, standard, composition or other defining requirement.
02
Quantity
Volume per delivery and total contemplated volume.
03
Frequency
One-time need or expected delivery cadence.
04
Origin
Required, preferred or offered source of the commodity.
05
Destination
Delivery point or market relevant to the mandate.
06
Timing
Availability, required delivery window and transaction schedule.
07
Delivery
Proposed logistics responsibilities and delivery terms.
08
Payment
Expected structure, timing and evidence of readiness.

Our role

Qualification and coordination between principals

We help clarify the mandate, assess counterparty relevance, facilitate introductions and coordinate commercial dialogue. Buyers and suppliers remain responsible for their contractual obligations, diligence, logistics, compliance, payment and performance. Any financing arrangement must be agreed by the principals and their providers. Schütze Capital does not take ownership of the commodity or guarantee a counterparty or transaction outcome.

Transaction path

A practical sequence for physical trade

  1. 01

    Define the mandate

We document the product requirement or offer and the commercial parameters that matter.

  2. 02

    Qualify relevance

We assess whether the counterparty and proposed terms warrant a direct conversation.

  3. 03

    Facilitate exchange

We coordinate introductions and the initial exchange of information within the agreed scope.

  4. 04

    Support coordination

We help maintain communication while the principals and their advisers evaluate and negotiate.

Common questions

Before submitting a commodity mandate

What information should I provide?

Include the product specification, quantity, frequency, origin or destination, timing and expected delivery and payment terms. State whether you are the buyer, supplier or an authorized representative.

Can I submit a recurring requirement?

Yes. Describe the delivery cadence, volume per delivery and expected duration so the mandate can be assessed on that basis.

Does Schütze Capital act as the supplier?

Schütze Capital acts as an intermediary. The supplying principal is responsible for the product, documentation, delivery and contractual performance.

How do you decide whether an inquiry is a fit?

We consider the completeness of the mandate, commercial coherence, counterparty role and whether a relevant qualified conversation can be pursued.
